C++ Software Engineer Project delivery will be, in the main, managed and delivered on a remote basis Occasional travel to London, Edinburgh or Paris offices Ongoing contract position £300-400 per day Syntech Recruitment is excited to present an outstanding opportunity for a C++ Embedded Software Engineer with expertise in both C++ and Python. We are actively seeking professionals who possess a strong background in C++ Embedded Software, specifically withexperience in defining interfaces and implementation. The role requires proficiency in C++ application development, making it essential for successful candidates to demonstrate their expertise in this area. This contract position is expected to commence within the next 4 weeks, with interviews scheduled to take place over the next 10 days. The initial contract length is estimated to be 10-12 months, with the possibility of extension. While the majority of theproject will be managed remotely, occasional visits to our clients offices in London, Edinburgh, or Paris may be required. As a C++ Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing code for automated components at our UK development center. Your role will involve defining interfaces and implementation, along with effective communication at a technical level. Additionally,you may be required to train and mentor junior engineers when necessary. To be considered for this position, you should possess a BSc degree or equivalent in Hardware/Software/Embedded Engineering and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded software development. Your expertise in C++ application development will be criticalto your success in this role. At our company, we utilize a comprehensive tech stack that includes Linux and Yocto for the system, C, C++, and Python as the primary languages, and protocols such as OpenADR, MQTT, and TCP-IP. Additionally, familiarity with radio technologies like Zigbee,Cat-M/NB-IoT, and Wi-Fi, as well as CI/CD tools like GitLab, and experience with digital electronics, will be advantageous.
