Picture this. Its the 21st June. You and your nearest and dearest have booked your favourite table, in your favourite restaurant. You walk to the familiar spot, sit down and remove your jacket. Over walks your usual waiter. You catch up, laugh and make the standard its like no time has passed at all jokes. Your drinks arrive. The familiar sound of ice on glass, the sensation of the condensation meeting your hand, that first sip. Ahh, you sigh a breath of relief. And promise to never take hospitality for granted again. If this rings true for you, wouldnt it be cool to contribute to the industry and work on some of the tools that act as the backbone for the industry. To contribute to developing the software that will soon pave a way for a new, more technically efficient and robust hospitality sector. Well heres your chance. One of the leading hospitality software companies (I know everyone says it - but really - theyve got the awards and household name customers to prove it) is looking to build out a new team of C# Developers to help reengineer and modernise their entire product suite.Youll have a number of years experience in a similar position and have extensive experience writing complex API driven web applications in a .NET based technology stack. Youll also ideally have exposure to SQL, including writing stored procedures and functions and the ability to design new schemas. Its really important that you have experience working with high availability platforms as they are currently experiencing 5000 transactions per second, and this is only increasing. It would be a benefit if you had some exposure to Docker and an interest in Message Querying software such as RabbitMQ and cloud service bus architectures. In return youll join a friendly, family feel team. The business have recently secured access to plural site for everyone in their development team, and are in the process of carving out time within the working week for team members to upskill. Youll have quarterly reviews to keep you in line with your development and training plan and be offered opportunities to grow and progress internally. Youll also be able to work remotely if that is the way you work best, or go into their offices in Staffordshire, Oxford or Edinburgh if youre craving post pandemic interaction!ROLE: Software Development EngineerSALARY: Up to £65,000 DOELOCATION: Remote or travel into offices in Staffordshire, Edinburgh or Oxford
