Job Description

Are you a Business Development Manager in the property area feeling a little underwhelmed in your current role Want to work with the fastest growing business in this sector with all the best technology to help you succeedWe are partnering with the award-winning Property Searches Scotland on a newly created Business Development Manager role that will drive revenue in two key strategic markets of residential and commercial property searches and associated products in Edinburghand the East of Scotland.With lots of autonomy, youll also be part of a talented team in what is an exciting period ahead for the business.Were looking for...

  • Commercial awareness - able to identify and act upon commercial opportunities
  • Relationship builder - youll enjoy building relationships at all levels coming with a consultative approach and gravitas
  • Knowledge of the East coast of Scotland
  • You may have experience of selling into solicitors or working with Financial Services
  • Highly motivated - youll have some great support but also be happy to take the reigns and help drive and grow your owned locations
  • Excellent communication skills - able to convey "the vision" in a simple and understandable way
You will be...
  • Taking responsibility for management of a portfolio of existing customer accounts within the agreed territory
  • Lead generation - Identifying potential new sources of business within the relevant territory and agreeing and implementing a customer acquisition strategy including initial appointment setting, delivering successful sales presentations, and subsequentmanagement of new customer onboarding including ongoing relationship management.
  • Ongoing account management including regular monitoring of customer activity levels to maximise share of wallet opportunities.
  • Joining the local management team, you will be contributing to the strategic development of the business
