Job Description

Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation with office in Edinburgh and Glasgow, are currently looking to recruit a Business Analyst for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of c.£350-400/day (outside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances this role will initially be remote based but could be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.Responsibilities:• Support both the Programme Business Analyst and Data Architect on a national systems implementation programme. This will include working with business and technical team members and suppliers, eliciting and documenting functional requirements to support solution configuration.• Support management and traceability of the agreed requirements, including change requests, and working with the test team to support UAT activities.Essential Skills:• Business requirements elicitation and management• Workshop facilitation• Business Intelligence / Management Information reporting needs analysis • Writing, reviewing, improving documentation• Interpersonal and communication skills to support collaborative working across multiple stakeholder groups and suppliers• Experience of working on large heavily regulated programmesDesirable Skills:• Business process mapping and analysis• Knowledge and experience working with NHS in Scotland is highly advantageous• Experience of workstream planning or management• An appropriate qualification e.g. BCS Diploma, CBAP• Existing BPSS clearance is advantageous If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
