Job Description

Business Analyst required for our Mobile Apps team. You will be a key part of the team and expected to take the initiative in ensuring the business needs of our client are fully understood and met by the proposed solution.

  • To gather and document requirements and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria that can be used and interpreted by both business and technical users. This will involve assessing source documentation from the customer and participatingin workshops
  • Identify and recommend options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
  • Work closely with the UI/UX teams to create designs and journey flows
  • Help to create logical and innovative solutions to business and technical problems
  • Assist with the presentation of solutions to clients
  • Work closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure all solutions deliver customer satisfaction
  • Provide training to users of a new system as required
  • Communicate and collaborate with the test team
  • Plan and work flexibly to meet deadlines
  • Keep up to date with technical and industry sector advances
Customer Service responsibilities:
  • Maintain great client relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Maintain consistently high levels of client satisfaction and effectively escalating business critical situations to as required
  • Manage situations and relationships both internally and externally

  • Business analysis experience
  • eCommerce/mobile Commerce/Digital ideally within a retail/hospitality industry
  • Production of user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ability to work on your own initiative to an agreed action plan
  • Strong communication skills - as this role requires a high level of communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong problem solving, time management and organisational skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic with strong attention to detail
Exposure to:
  • Knowledge of accessibility guidelines
  • Web usability
  • Jira/Confluence
If you know any of this even better
  • Ideally knowledge of Native Mobile Apps (Android/iOS)
  • Experience with mobile commerce user experiences
  • Database experience
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms
