Business Analyst6 monthsEdinburgh (Required in office 2-3 times per month)My high-profile banking client is currently recruiting for a business analyst to work on an initial 6-month contract. They are looking for someone with Migration/compliance, Payment Scheme, Payment domain and Building Teams experience.Responsible for the requirements analysis, process design and solution design for a medium sized product and/or project in order to realise customer value through excellence and execution. Include using Business Analysis skills to support the Product Owneror Project Manager to identify and understand the business need, analyse and prioritise the requirements, through to assessing, designing, testing and implementing agreed solutions. Coaching and developing others to achieve analysis excellence is also a keypart of the role.* Meets the needs of significant customers related to a range of products and services and/or manages a customer advisor team over a given area.* Analyses key themes using data from a wide range of sources and identifies possible impacts on the business.* Takes responsibility for implementing a teams formal development framework with guidance from senior colleagues, while informally coaching others throughout the organisation in area of expertise and pursuing and investing in opportunities for own personaldevelopment.* Identifies shortcomings, then suggests and implements improvements to existing business practices, while developing and delivering projects or a work stream within the organisations change management programme with guidance from senior colleagues.* Develops and/or delivers a plan for a specific area of responsibility by managing others.* Sets medium term objectives and takes responsibility for implement a teams performance management systems with guidance from senior colleagues.* Builds complex frameworks to fully assess the scope and context of short-term and long-term business needs.* Analyses and evaluates the feasibility/relevance of proposals for complex products/services, then develops and amends as necessary with guidance from senior colleagues and/or supervises activities performed by a product development/specialist team.* Develops innovative solutions by integrating and analysing complex and diverse information sources.What We Need From You:*Highly skilled with Business Analysis*Familiarity with Agile way of working.*Domain knowledge of Payments schemes (T2, CHAPS, SEPA and SWIFT) and understanding around ISO 20022. * Please be advised if you havent heard from us within 48 hours then unfortunately your application has not been successful on this occasion, we may however keep your details on file for any suitable future vacancies and contact you accordinglyAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers and contractors.
