Job Description

Cobalt is working with a very well-known and established global brand on a Building Manager position in Edinburgh on where you will manage a multi-tenanted commercial office building in the City.This is an opportunity to work for an illustrious client and develop your experience managing a high-end asset where internal growth within this company is paramount.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaison with the visitors, tenants and their staff as required in all matters relating to efficient running of the building.
  • Procurement and tenders of all new contracts for both soft and hard FM services.
  • Ensuring the buildings are compliant with the UK Health & Safety legislation, whilst ensuring the buildings comply with ISO 14001 quality assurance.
  • Preparation of service charge budgets along with quarterly variance reporting and end-of-year reconciliations
Requirements for the role:
  • Be IOSH or NEBOSH qualified.
  • A good understanding of the current H&S regulations and ISO 14001
  • Experience in setting and managing service charge budgets.
  • Experience in managing commercial multi-tenanted buildings.
