Job Description

We have a vacancy for a proactive, self-motivated Branch Manager to join our experienced team at our branch in Edinburgh.This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.About the role

  • Managing day to day operations in the branch
  • Driving sales and profitability
  • To manage and maintain contract accounts
  • Developing customer accounts and new business opportunities
  • To set objectives for the branch and monitor branch performance
  • Leading, motivating and developing branch team
  • Development of relationships with key suppliers
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained in branch
    • Within this role you will have full budgetary responsibility for the branch and ensure compliance with all health and safety policies.About youExperience within the trade or in a generalist merchant sector is essential as this will be key to building relationships with our customers. Any experience within the commercial plumbing and heating sector would be welcomed as this will be a great advantage to assist in developing sales.We are looking for people that have demonstrable experience as a Branch or Regional Manager within a trade environment to take our high performing branch to the next level in developing sales and profitability and ensure we continue to grow.A Full UK Driving License is essential.About your development and benefitsWe aim to unlock your potential and equip you with all the skills required to move to the next stage in your career with us.
