Please contact Rochelle on for more informationBodyshop Manager - Clear Automotive is a specialist Automotive recruitment agency, working with Accident repair and automotive organisations across the UK, to fulfil their staffing requirements.We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Bodyshop Manager from within the accident repair industry to join a successful repair group, to enhance their senior leadership team.You will already have a background as a Bodyshop manager and will be looking to join a business to support with changes and progression.The Role: Bodyshop Manager - Accident Repair industryYour role will be varied and all-encompassing with the below duties.   • The position requires an experienced bodyshop manager to lead and develop your team and ensure the sites success, through passionate leadership and making knowledgeable decisions.
  • Working alongside and supporting senior management through communication and ensure the site is meeting key to key targets.
  • Provide training and mentoring to new staff members
  • Your key responsibilities will include entire site management, which includes Health and Safety, Performance Management, Financials and Customer Service and setting targets
  • Leading by example and promoting a positive work ethic
  • You will be responsible for recruitment and delivering against key performance indicators with the help your senior management team.
  • Ensuring Key to Key and CSI targets are met or exceeded
  • You will provide strong leadership to direct reports and all site employees, to drive performance and achieve or exceed all financial and operational targets.
  • Understand the business needs, the accounts, reports and KPIs
  • Effectively manage site resources and costs in order to optimise capability and profitability
  • Monitor individual productive performance to minimise non-productive time.
  • Establish, maintain and promote good working relations with key personnel
What we are looking for: Bodyshop Manager
  • Technical knowledge and experience of the Accident Repair and Bodyshop industry
  • Previous experience within a management position with the ability to lead and coach the team
  • Ability to organise office administration, control systems and financial resources
  • Relevant and up-to-date knowledge of vehicle design and manufacture, consumer and vehicle legislation, industry and best practice
  • Knowledge and understanding of the provisions of E.P.A. and C.O.S.H.H
  • Knowledge and understanding of BSI Standards and accreditation.
  • The ability to plan and use resources to enhance the performance of all sites
  • A passionate and determined work ethic
