Job Description

Our client is looking for someone to work primarily within the data and marketing department, which is responsible for business intelligence, data analysis, mining, modelling, manipulation, segmentation and split testing, report creation and data selection.Client DetailsOur client are an established online subscription business in the drinks sector that have grown rapidly over the last ten years. As part of their growth they have started to establish their own in house data function over the last 12 months and now seekan experienced professional to join the team and be their Subject Matter Expert on all things data related.We are looking for someone to work primarily within the data and marketing department, which is responsible for business intelligence, data analysis, mining, modelling, manipulation, segmentation and split testing, report creation and data selection.DescriptionThe Business Intelligence Manager will lead a small team with responsibility for dealing with large datasets with varied analytical output requirements. You will primarily create complex reporting, perform data analysis, produce data selections and havea strong desire to be part of a passionate team working to optimise everything.Duties:

  • Use advanced data modeling, predictive modeling and analytical techniques to create actionable insights
  • Oversee the design and delivery of cross-functional special data projects to support growth
  • Help us visualise and optimise the entire customer marketing journey; across acquisition and retention to upsell and reactivation
  • Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis on performed split tests, testing different audiences responses to different offers, helping shape future campaigns
Profile
  • A proven track record working in a business intelligence, data analyst or equivalent role
  • Experience managing and rolling out technical projects and development opportunities
  • Previously worked in a technical lead or team lead position
  • Knowledge of consumer classification systems
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python
  • Experience in data visualisation tools such as Qlik and Tableau
