Job Description

Join us as a Behavioural Risk Specialist Senior Auditor

  • Specialising in Behavioural Risk, youll be contributing to the independent assessment of customer journeys and outcomes through a risk lens on reviews
  • Youll be using behavioural science insights and research methods to provide impactful, insightful and rigorous insights to reduce the risk of poor outcomes for customers and the bank
  • This is a fast paced and varied role which will enable you to build your network at the bank, by collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders and senior employees
  • What youll doAs a Behavioural Risk Specialist Senior Auditor, youll be supporting and collaborating with your colleagues to deliver behavioural risk reviews. This will involve supporting on the design and delivery of primary or secondary research, triangulating across different data sources and linking research with the behavioural science theory to form a conclusion. Well look to you to keep up to date with the latest insights and methodological developments in behavioural science and contribute to the continuous improvement of the teams evidence base, methods and approaches. Youll also be:
  • Contribute to the continuous monitoring of behavioural risk and supporting the running of a high-performing, innovative team day-to-day
  • Using internal audit tools and resources to monitor and track reviews
  • Delivering elements of a regular or complex audit engagement
  • Acting as an ambassador for Internal Audit, helping to build on the reputation and integrity of the function
  • Effectively sharing knowledge across the function in relation to specific engagements
  • The skills youll needTo join us in this role, youll bring a deep understanding of the behavioural science literature and theory and practical application to real world problems. Youll demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for behavioural science, and youll also hold a degree in a social science discipline such as Social Psychology, Cognitive Science or Anthropology. Youll also bring:
  • Experience undertaking primary and secondary project research, such as designing and delivering qualitative or quantitative research in an applied environment
  • The ability to synthesise different primary and secondary data sources and theory to provide behavioural analysis of potential problems
  • Experience in management consultancy, financial services, UX or service design
  • Experience or knowledge of working in a risk or regulatory context
  • The ability to apply behavioural science to consumer financial decision making
