Its designed to make it as easy as humanly possible foranyone to make a podcast. It provides a range of features to allow the user to record themselves, record calls, edit recordings, add music and publish their show.[Learn more about what we do here](https://recruitment/)*About the role:*Were looking for someoneto help us develop our backend processes, plus the infrastructure and deployment systems we need to hit 10,000+ users and beyond. That means scalability, reliability and efficiency, in equal measure. We need someone with 2+ years of back-end and devops experience.Youll develop new back-end features, and tinker with everything related to our running, deployment and updating processes, to keep Alitu rock-solid and lightning quick as it grows.***Responsibilities:** Help us develop our CI/CD processes to achieve zero-downtimefor users and flexibility for our team* Work on our node.js webapp, including RestAPIs* Maintain and optimise the running of our application on AWS* Plan for scaling and improving the performance of the entire Alitu infrastructure* Work with QA to enable real-worldtesting of new features in a safe environment* Help us manage our growing repository of media resources and their distribution to users***Core Skills:*The abilities to learn and problem solve are more important than the exact skills you have. So, if you dontcurrently work with ALL of these, but you can show us youve learned similar quickly, then get in touch.* Node.js development (or similar)* Jenkins (or similar) for CI/CD* AWS application management* Configuration management (Terraform, or similar)* Devopsengineering experience in a commercial environment* Monitoring toolsZabbix / Grafana***Bonus Points:*These skills are a bonus, but not necessary. Let me know if you have them.* Experience with Cloudflare for content distribution* Docker and/or Kubernetesfor containerisation and orchestration* Experience in audio editing/encoding using ffmpeg or a similar multimedia tech* Experience in video editing/encoding using ffmpeg or a similar multimedia tech* React (our front-end tech)***Mindset Fit:*Your mindset isreally important to us, too.
