Job Description

AWS DevOps EngineerPertemps Scotland Ltd are working with our client in Edinburgh to recruit for a AWS DevOps Engineer on a temporary basis for 6 months with potential of extension.This role is working from home.Day rate - £450 to £490The main duties would be:

  • Design, Build and support the companies AWS platform
  • Design build and support solutions for path to production for products, workload telemetry and the runtime environment
  • Work alongside Product Teams to ensure the best practices developing, testing, deploying and supporting products on AWS
  • Ensure platform meets all the governance requirements set by the company
    • Essential
  • Experience with designing and building platforms in AWS and with AWS Serverless technologies
  • Experience with CI/CD methodology and native AWS CI/CD tooling
  • Knowledge of defining infrastructure as code
  • Practical experience of introducing automated testing to AWS environments
  • Practical experience of introducing new efficient processes or concepts within the AWS environment
  • Ability to work with the business, to understand the context, and to focus on delivering value
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience working in the Agile delivery models - such as Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks
  • - Technology:
  • AWS Lambda, CDK, S3, Cloud Formation, API Gateway, EC2, AMIs
  • GuardDuty, Transit Gateway, AWS Config, Route53, CodeBuild, CodeDepoly
