Job Description

We are an award-winning Pensions Consultancy with over 1300 staff in 15 locations across the UK. The Investment practice is an area of rapid growth within XPS. We are very ambitious and want to continue growing strongly. Our clients are institutional investors, mostly pension schemes. We advise them on a wide range of investment-related areas.The RoleWe are looking for an Assistant Investment Consultant that will excel in a role in our asset transitions team which oversees transition activity for the UK-wide Investment practice. This role combines excellent communication skills, a passion about investments together with drive and enthusiasm. We also need an individual with strong project management skills combined with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. This position can be based within any of our office locations.The PersonWe want someone who is passionate about investing and who is unafraid to express a view and can express their view clearly, thereby contributing to the investment ideas we rely on to achieve our aims. Effective organisation skills and the ability to manage and prioritise workload will also be key, including the ability to manage multiple tasks to demanding timeframes. Ideally, you will have some background knowledge of pensions.We want to help you reach your potential and be the best that you can be. By joining XPS you will be involved in a wide variety of work.
