My Client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy who specialise in Hydrology, Ecology and Environmental Management, is searching for an Assistant Environmental Consultant to join a friendly and supportive team in Edinburgh.Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Environmental, Hydrology, Oceanography or Coastal Engineering and have experience working for a Consultancy or Local Authority completing Environmental Impact Assessments or Peat Restorationor Hydrological Assessments or Hydrology Chapters for EIAs.This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to join a friendly team in Edinburgh to complete varied Environmental, Hydrological, Surface Water, Environmental Projects for greenfield, industrial, commercial and renewable energy projects.You will also be required to complete;-Environmental Impact Assessments.-ES Statements.-Hydrology Chapters for EIAs.-Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap.-Hydrological Assessments.-Drainage Strategies.-Water Quality Assessments.-Peat Restoration.-River Restoration Schemes.-GIS Mapping.This role offers a competitive salary, company benefits and career progression.
