Job Description

Robert Half are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a brilliant finance team in the outskirts of Edinburgh (near Sighthill).Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role involves:

  • Overseeing purchase ledger function
  • Coding invoices in system
  • Bank transactions reconciliations
  • Prepare and maintain monthly accruals and prepayments
  • Stock reconciliations
  • Ad hoc duties
Profile
  • Good knowledge of accounting standards
  • Previous purchase ledger experience is essential
  • Strong IT skills, Xero knowledge desirable
  • Great interpersonal skills
Salary between £30000 and £35000 per annum plus benefits depending on qualifications and experiencePlease note: the role is on a hybrid basis and requires 3 to 4 days a week in the office.
