Area Sales Manager - Showers Job Title: Area Sales Manager - ShowersIndustry Sector: Showers, Shower Products, Shower Accessories, KBB, Bathroom Products, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Councils, Merchants, Plumbers Merchants, Plumbing & Heating Merchants, Builders MerchantsArea to be covered: East Scotland & North EastPostcodes: KW, IV, AB, PH, DD, KY, EH, TD, NE, DLRemuneration: £35,000neg (depending on experience) + uncapped commission circa £8,000 £10,000Benefits: full expensed company car + comprehensive benefitsThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Showers will involve:

  • Field sales role selling a manufactured range of showers and shower accessories
  • Majority of your time will be spent selling to a mixed route to market via: local authorities, housing associations, occupational therapist, residential homes, nursing homes, care homes, councils, main contractors, sub-contractors, national & independentmerchants such as: Plumb Centre, Plumbase, MKM, Grahams, Richmonds & Jewsons
  • You will inherit a well-established area currently targeted to turnover circa £1m and looking to grow year on year
  • Majority of your time will be spent managing existing accounts however you will be expected to generate new business
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Showers with:
  • Must have sold or worked with related building / KBB products
  • Ideally showers or associated products
  • Must have sold to a either local authorities, councils, housing associations and contractors or builders merchants
  • Would consider somebody working for a merchants such as: Grahams, Jewson and Plumbase looking to step into field sales
  • Consultative sales approach
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • Stable career history and positive can do approach
  • Entrepreneurial attitude prepared to take ownership
