Area Sales Manager - Heavyside Building ProductsJob Title: Area Sales Executive - Concrete & Landscape ProductsIndustry Sector: Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Executive, Area Sales Executive, Precast Concrete, Concrete, Heavyside Building Products, Landscaping Products, Landscape Architects, Groundworkers, Contractors, Civils, Civils Merchants, Builders MerchantsArea to be covered: ScotlandRemuneration: £30,000-£45,000 (depending on experience) + £16,000 bonus (paid quarterly)Benefits: company car OR £5,500 car allowance & full benefits packages The role of the Area Sales Executive - Concrete & Landscape Products will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a high end quality manufactured range of precast concrete / landscaping products such as: retaining walls, paving, facing brick, beams, blocks, flags, acoustic blocks and architectural masonry
  • Dealing with typical applications such as: marinas, leisure centers, hospitals, schools, apartment blocks, nursing homes and offices
  • 75% groundworkers and tier 1 contractors
  • The remaining 25% will be spent selling to civil merchants such as: Keyline, Jewson and Burdens
  • Will be expected to turnover circa £1.5m-£2m
  • Dealing with order values ranging from around £60k - £500k per project
  • Working in a buddy systems with a Specification sales Manager
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Executive - Concrete & Landscape Products experience with:
  • Would consider candidates from an internal / external sales background in the construction industry
  • Would consider someone working in a builder merchants
  • Ideally from an external sales background in the heavyside / civil industry however not essential
  • Open in terms of what builder products / materials you’ve sold
  • Ideally have some experience generating specifications via architects, landscape architects, civil engineers, quantity surveyors and key specifiers
  • Would consider a merchants sales rep
