Job Description

A specification and contractor sales roles, securing sales for a range of decorative cladding and external facades. Tracking new-build and re-cladding projects across the public and private sector, with the emphasis on projects within the education,healthcare, leisure and high-rise residential sectors.Package: circa £45k-£50k basic & 20% OTE (paid quarterly with +40% achievable with over-riders). Hybrid company car, laptop, mobile, pension & 24 days holidayTerritory: Scotland - with emphasis on the central beltProducts: Decorative rain-screen cladding / external large panel facades Customers: Architects, main contractors, high-rise developers, cladding contractors and cladding distributors / fabricatorsThe Role - Area Sales Manager:

  • A specification and contractor sales role, securing specifications and winning projects for a large format range of decorative cladding and external facades
  • Tracking new-build and re-cladding projects across the public and private sectors
  • Working with architects, main contractors, high-rise developers and cladding contractors
  • With the focus on the education, healthcare, leisure and high-rise residential sectors
  • Whilst supporting a small portfolio of specialist distributors and fabricators that everything is back-sold through
The Successful Applicant - Area Sales Manager:
  • A field sales professional with a proven track record within the construction industry
  • Applicants with a cladding or general building envelope background will be readily received
  • Although this is not essential, and my client will happily recruit from other building material backgrounds
  • Just as long as you are proactive and target driven, with a can-do attitude, and a professional and structured approach to solution sales
