Job Description

Repairs AdministratorBased in Edinburgh£13 - £14.25 per hour + holiday payReed Business Support are currently working with an Edinburgh based Property company who are looking to recruit a Repairs Administrator on a 6 - 8 week temporary basis with the possibility for extension. Youll be working in a fast-paced team and will beresponsible for reporting repairs and maintenance requests to external contractors. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with both administration and customer interaction.

  • Monday - Thursday (9am - 5pm) Friday (9am - 4pm)
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Office based
Key responsibilities:
  • Answering calls from tenants and taking down detailed information on repairs / maintenance requests
  • Providing customers with information on next stages of repairs process
  • Logging information on internal repairs system
  • Selecting the correct contractor for information to be sent to
  • Maintaining a tracker on updates on repairs
  • Ad hoc admin duties
Person specifications:
  • Previous experience working in a customer service or administration role
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills - including the ability to take detailed information
  • Good IT skills and ability to pick up new systems
Desirable:
  • Experience working in property, housing, maintenance, or facilities sectors
  • Knowledge and understanding of trades
