Administration & Department Manager - Part-TimeCentral Edinburgh basedPart-Time role | 9:00am to 5:00pm | 3 days per week3-month temp contract | potential for extension/permanencyUp to £20.00 per hour + holiday pay (depending on experience)Search Consultancy are currently working with a leading Edinburgh based client to recruit this role on an interim basis. This is a part-time role working 21 hours per week across 3 days based in their Central Edinburgh office.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level Administration & Office Management including the supervision of two staff, project work and dealing extensively with stakeholders across the business.Duties involved in this role will include:* Carrying out the day-to-day management and co-ordination of work for the department and associated projects* Line management of the team, ensuring training needs are met to achieve both individual & team objectives* Management of both new/ongoing initiatives & projects including workload management and liaising with stakeholders regarding progress and timescales* Collection & analysis of data to increase department efficiency and maximise output* Working cohesively with other teams across the business to achieve wider goals* Providing support to Director level, ensuring they are fully aware of project updates & work being carried out* Representing the team at wider company meetings when required* Drafting of documentation & papers for the department where required* Various other duties as directed - full job & person spec will be provided on applicationIn order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:* Extensive previous & relevant experience within a Senior Administration or Team Manager role in line with the above duties - this experience is essential* Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise a varied & sometimes very busy workload effectively* Excellent verbal & written communication skills, with the confidence to represent a department & deal with stakeholders at all levels of business* Solid IT skills including the use of the full MS Office suiteIf this is the role for you, apply now!Please note that only applicants who have the required skills and experience detailed above will be considered for this role.Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
