Job Description

3rd Line Support EngineerEdinburgh - Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 working from home)Up to £45,000 plus benefitsLorien is excited to be working alongside a growing MSP based in Scotland with headquarters in Edinburgh and additional offices throughout Scotland. They specialise in delivering top tier IT Managed Services to diverse organisations across the UK and pridethemselves on fostering a collaborative working environment where individuality is celebrated, and autonomy is encouraged.They are looking for a Senior Engineer to join their team and continue to add to their success and play a critical part in ensuring the efficient operation of the IT Infrastructure and services they provide.Whats on offer:

Responsibilities:
  • Offer comprehensive technical assistance covering hardware, software, networking, and telephony, fostering a seamless user experience within predefined service level agreements.
  • Take charge as the lead on designated technical projects, collaborating closely with Project Managers and fellow team members.
  • Develop meticulous technical blueprints for projects under IT Managed Services.
  • Collaborate effectively with external vendors, ensuring seamless support and swift handling of change requests while keeping clients informed.
  • Manage time effectively to meet service level agreements, contractual obligations, and billable hours.
  • Develop a deep understanding of service offerings and tailor them to meet client needs.
  • Establish and enforce standardized procedures to maintain system coherence and reliability.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy in ConnectWise/IT Glue, serving as the primary repository for information.
  • Assist in crafting and adhering to formal documentation standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure clear and effective communication with clients.
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance client satisfaction and build lasting relationships.
  • Lead technical discussions during project meetings, kickoff calls, and other pertinent gatherings.
  • Provide support to the Senior Technical Team in day-to-day operational tasks.
  • Prioritize cybersecurity considerations across all phases of projects and client interactions.
