We employ over 1900 people to manage and develop our large portfolio of nearly 56,000 homes serving over 75,000 customers across London, the East Midlands, Southern and the East of England.This roleThis is a full time position working 37.5 hour a week, across a 7-day rota basis with a requirement to participate with on-call duties approximately once every four weeks.Supporting the Care Manager, a typical day will involve overseeing care allocations, supervising Care & Support Workers, writing care and support plans; rota planning and shift lead responsibilities.You will also be responsible for team management for annual leave, sickness and performance management, as well as team building and forward planning.What you`ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role you will have a passion for working closely with the elderly and want to constantly promote and support our customer`s well-being.As a Team Leader and senior member of staff you will be efficient, motivated and organised; being able to work to deadlines and meet set KPIs and objectives.You will need the following skills and experience to the role:- Effective staff management skills- Some line management experience- Knowledge of CQC regulations- Experience of delivering personal care & support to vulnerable customers- Experience writing & reviewing care plans and risk assessmentsWe are particularly keen to hear from those with any of the following additional skills:- NVQ level 3 or equivalent- Previous Team Leader experienceTo meet our commitment to providing safe, high quality services to our customers we will complete an enhanced background check with the Disclosure and Barring service, which will include a check of the Adult Barred list, once an offer of employment is made.
