Job Description

Senior Theatre Practitioner role in BirminghamLocation: Private Hospital in BirminghamSalary: Up to £42,000 per annumEmployment Type: Full-time 37.5 hours per weekAbout the Organization:This Private Hospital is a reputable private healthcare facility committed to delivering exceptional patient care in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. With state-of-the-art facilities and a compassionate team, we strive to provide a comfortable and healingenvironment. They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join their Ward team.As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, the selected individual will be a key member of the theatre team, contributing to the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include scrubbing in for surgical procedures, supportingthe theatre team, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrubbing in and assisting during surgical procedures.
  • Supporting the theatre team in maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless surgical services.
  • Monitoring and maintaining equipment and resources in the theatre.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior theatre staff.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and quality initiatives.
Requirements:Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner qualification.Extensive experience as a Theatre Practitioner with a focus on surgical procedures.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.Current registration with the relevant healthcare regulatory body.Benefits:
