New Business Manager B15 Salary up to £33k per annum dependent on experience You will be responsible for self-generating and managing a pipeline of leads, setting up prospect meetings and offering a diagnostic approach to prospective companies. You will be responsible for acquiring brand new customers across the full range of Clients commercial services including membership, sponsorship and advertising, insight & intelligence services, and international services such as export documentation and translations. As part of your role, you will be tasked with helping to grow the Clients reach and database by contacting and engaging with new contacts through a variety of channels as well as supporting the Clients live campaign priorities (e.g. securing award entries or business survey responses), always with the objective of engaging with a variety of contacts and businesses not currently known to the Client. You will represent the Client at online and in-person events as required to raise awareness and interest in the Client within new audiences and provide team members and the senior management team with market feedback and evaluate customer needs following successful or unsuccessful pitches. You will be commercially astute and experienced in generating new business in a B2B environment, and you will thrive in motivating a team as well as leading by example by personally securing multiple strategic partners on an annual basis. The successful candidate will ideally have at least three years experience in a new business development, sponsorship, or marketing role as well as experience in designing and delivering presentations and sales pitches. You will have excellent organisation,planning and negotiation skills and the ability to self-generate leads as well as working closely with an in-house marketing and communications team. You will be a proficient user of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel and experience in managing leads using a CRM system is essential.
