The Role: IT Infrastructure Engineer (1st Line)Are you a skilled IT professional looking for an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional support and contribute to the success of our organisation Join our team as a 1st Line IT Infrastructure Engineer and be a part of our dynamic and growing company.Responsibilities:As a 1st Line IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for:Providing comprehensive 1st line support, both onsite and remotely, across all aspects of our technology and infrastructure estate, including:

• End User Computing (EUC)
• Hardware & Logistics
• Managed Print Services
• Networks (WAN/LAN/WiFi)
• Telephony
• Email and Storage
• Security Tooling
• Identity Access Management
• Provisioning, maintaining, and de-provisioning End User Device (EUD) access, including troubleshooting and support.
• Assisting in the provisioning, logistics, distribution, auditing, maintenance, and overall asset management of all hardware within the PIB Group.
• Managing the preparation, packing, shipping, and returns of IT equipment, as well as compliance processes.
• Supporting IT migrations, site relocations, integration projects, and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborating with internal end users, external suppliers, and the IT help desk to build and maintain strong working relationships and efficient processes.
• Escalation to 2nd and 3rd Line Teams as appropriate.
• Ensuring all service and support requests are routed through the appropriate channels
• Delivering assigned tasks and escalations from internal teams and the IT help desk.
• Maintaining proactive engagement and communication with key stakeholders during migration, relocation, and integration activities.
• Working independently and as part of a team to deliver tasks with accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Supporting the delivery, performance, and availability of Group systems and services.
• Adherence to proper auditing, monitoring, and reporting for relevant services.
• Ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs and appropriately managing any breaches.

Requirements:To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• Six months demonstrable experience within a busy IT support environment.
• Knowledge of computer hardware systems.
• Familiarity with general OS systems and Office Software.
• Technical support and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft, Android, and iOS systems and technologies.
• Ability to work effectively within a matrixed team.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and independent thinking.
• Strong prioritization and workload management skills.
• Excellent communication capabilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to think laterally.
• Resilience, positivity, and adaptability.
• Structured and organised approach to work.
• Collaborative team player.
• Quick learner with a proactive attitude.
• Flexibility to travel and clean full driving licence.
