Job Description

Deputy Clinical Services Manager - TheatreLocation: Private Hospital in BirminghamSalary: Up to £38,000 per annumEmployment Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)About the Organization:This Private Hospital is a reputable private healthcare facility committed to delivering exceptional patient care in Huddersfield and the surrounding areas. With state-of-the-art facilities and a compassionate team, we strive to provide a comfortable and healingenvironment. They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join their Ward team.As the Deputy Clinical Services Manager for Theatre, the selected individual will play a pivotal role in the operational management of theatre services. Working closely with the Clinical Services Manager, they will contribute to the efficient and effectivedelivery of high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include staff management, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the overall management and coordination of theatre services.
  • Supervising and supporting theatre staff, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to policies.
  • Overseeing the scheduling and allocation of resources for surgical procedures.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and quality initiatives.
  • Assisting in the recruitment, training, and development of theatre staff.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner qualification.
  • Substantial experience in theatre management and clinical leadership.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
  • In-depth knowledge of theatre operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
  • Current registration with the relevant healthcare regulatory body.
