Job Description

Here at the Binding Site, we have all experienced the impact that the pandemic has had both on a personal and professional level, and as an organisation we are committed to fight against Covid-19. Working very closely with the University of Birmingham and pulling together as a close team, we developed a high-quality antibody test in record time.Would you like to be part of an organisation which is committed to improving patient lives worldwide through education, collaboration and innovationWe now have 2x part-time temporary roles working as a cleaner (working hours 5pm-7.30pm, Monday - Friday). The individual will also be required to be flexible to the needs of the business and provide additional cleaning as a when required.This role will include:

  • Dusting and vacuuming of stairs
  • Dusting and polishing of desks, chairs and other general surfaces
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping of floors as appropriate to the area
  • Use of floor scrubbing machines
  • Emptying general waster bins
  • Completion of cleaning checklists
    • You will also have:
  • Good attention to details
  • Ability to plan and organise work to complete all tasks in the time allowed
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to identify problems and seek a solution
  • Ability to work in team
