Job Description

Workshop Controller - Brand - Edenbridge - £41,000Dual branded site with a large workshop and a off road track at the back of the dealer.This site is part of a family business steeped in heritage within the high-end automotive business. The companys headquarters are located in Chichester, West Sussex.In recent year the group has also invested heavily in the development of electric and hybrid vehicles, as part of its efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and support sustainable mobility solutions.What you will be rewarded with: * Basic Salary £35,000* Bonus £6,000* 25 Days + 8 Bank holidays* Company Pension Scheme* Great work atmosphere and team* Career progression opportunities* Great company benefitsWorkshop Controller Day to day duties:* Manage the process of optimising workshop resources to meet agreed departmental budgets.* Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other members of the department.* Calculate and manage the effective use of workshop resources for the business.* Monitor individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure key performance indicators are met.* Plan the distribution of work amongst the team utilising available skills mix.* Identify individual training and development needs.* Manage liaison between workshop and service reception on customer vehicle progress.* Manage workshop standards in accordance with brand standards requirements.* Ensure understanding and adherence to the requirements of manufacturer service requirements and customer satisfaction indicators.* Maintain and develop own skills and technical knowledge.* Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the business.
