KCHFT has recently been given a rating of outstanding by the CQC. We have a vacancy for a Band 5 registered general nurse at our Edenbridge Cottage Hospital. If you are newly qualified, more experienced or are interested in returning to practice and share our passion for excellent patient care within out outstanding team, then we would like to hear from you.Edenbridge Cottage Hospital is set in the beautiful Kent countryside, just a short walk from Edenbridge town Centre with excellent transport links; 2 nearby train stations, good bus routes and easy access to the Motorway. The hospital has 14 beds and a friendly family feel allowing our team to work together to deliver a very high standard of holistic care and rehabilitation to our patients. There are excellent local schools and facilities, such as country parks, theatres, castles, leisure centres, as well as other historical sites. It’s a wonderful opportunity to develop your skills as a nurse and adopt a new way of living in a new area at the same time.You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team. The team consists of a modern matron, registered nurses, rehabilitation assistants, health care assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, a care manager, a pharmacist, visiting medical officer and medical consultants. You will be involved in planning effective and safe care for patients needing holistic rehabilitation to promote independence, while getting to know your patients and giving them the time they need.We are following the current guidelines regarding interviewing so therefore will be conducting virtual interviews via Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp.Interviews will be held on the 29 th September 2020 via Microsoft Teams.
