Job Description

Teaching Assistants to work with special needs childrenTo start asapWe are looking for Carer / Teaching Assistants to provide physical and learning support for pupils with special needs near to East Grinstead.The post involves the following duties:

  1. To undertake activities and assist in monitoring the personal, social and emotional needs of pupils.
  2. To develop positive relationships with pupils to assist pupil progress and attainment.
  3. To assist in the development of varying skills that support pupils learning.
  4. To assist in providing lunchtime supervision.
An understanding of children with special needs would be an advantage. Candidates with experience or qualifications in supporting communication and/or behavioural difficulties will be well placed to apply, although those from Domiciliary care background and with other qualifications / experiences may also be considered.To be successful you must be:
  • Willing to work Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 16:00.
