This is a new role for an assistant accountant to join the finance team. Working alongside the Finance Manager you will take on a full and varied accounting role.This accounts position is busy and hands on, you will be required to pitch in and help with all aspects of accounting.- Purchase and sales ledger - upto 100 invoices per week- Month end posting and bank reconciliations- Data collection and processing for payroll of 100+ employees- Credit control monitoring and issuing invoices- Processing expences- Issuing supplier statments- Posting non-supplier and achoc paymentsWe are looking for an accounts assistant with either AAT or qualified by experience - a good understanding of technical accounting and double entry bookkeeping will help you to learn the bespoke accounting systems. A Sage back ground could be beneficialor the ability to learn new systems.- Good attention to detail and accuracy with Data input- Strong communication skills- A happy and positive outlook to working in a busy environment
