Job Description

Site Electrical Engineer (Switchgear) - Manufacturing & Engineering - St Helens - Up to £32,000About the CompanyThe client has been providing electrical engineers with a fast, flexible and quality orientated service collectively since 2002 and have developed a wide range of sector skills.They specialise in the design and manufacture of HV/LV packaged sub stations, low voltage electrical switchboards, power distribution units, motor control panels and related final power distribution and control equipment.Site Electrical Engineer - The Rewards

Site Electrical Engineer - Requirements
  • Responsibility for working on site for maintenance contracts, site works and testing in line with company requirements.
  • Work within the factory on the Shop floor when no site work is available.
  • Previous experience essential within the industry with a good electrical background.
  • Responsible to assist in Risk and Method Statements in line with the site manager.
  • You must have a safe working knowledge of all hand tools, power tools (including drills and jigsaws) and the use of appropriate PPE.
Site Electrical Engineer - Responsibilities
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and 3D visuals from the supplier/company.
  • Using hand and power tools assemble enclosures to a quality standard at a satisfactory work rate.
  • Tapping and final mounting of components, trunking, DIN Rails etc ready for final wiring.
  • Panel Wiring From a schematic, engineering drawing or Photograph, interpret and produce wiring sets and looms to meet the requirements as set out by the Engineering Manager and company standards.
