Job Description

VACANCY: Customer Service - Order Fulfilment Administrator (Permanent)PERMANENTLOCATION: St. NeotsHOURS: 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to FridayOur Client is a leading global manufacturer of medical and scientific equipment. Their products and components have been used extensively in the biopharma, pharmaceutical, life sciences, environmental, and the food and beverage industries for over 65 years.Following some exciting changes within their business they have developed new opportunities within their teams, and are looking to introduce new colleagues who can compliment the Team and company with their existing skills whilst offering the support and ongoing development of new ones where possible.Our Client proudly provides a strong culture driven environment within the workplace, with an emphasis on team focused leadership.They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator to join their busy Order Fulfilment Team, based in St. Neots..Purpose of the Role:To provide exceptional support for our Customers, with regards to their order orders and expected fulfilment dates.Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivery Date Notifications to customers using internal system
  • Updating of Customer Portal with shipping info
  • Ensuring new Supplier Shipping dates are updated in our Sales orders, on a daily basis
  • Tagging for Warehouse for Consolidated shipments daily for despatch the following day
  • Tagging of orders promised for shipment the following day from the End of Day report
  • Notification of any delays to customer orders
  • Liaising with Order Fulfilment to expedite any customer requirements or check delays
  • Answering incoming calls
  • Learn other roles within of the Customer Service Team, to assist in holiday or sickness cover. Roles include order processing, Returns, Invoicing, etc
  • Required Skills/Attributes:Essential
  • At least 2-3 years experience in a Customer Service office environment
  • Excellent communication skills, being able to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent standard in education including Maths and English with GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C or above
  • Intermediate/Advanced IT skills on MS Office Suite
  • Proven ability to work flexibly and accurately and as part of a team
  • Desirable:
  • Exchequer, although full training will be provided.
