Job Description

Hybrid role split between my clients European HQ in Cambridgeshire & working from homeMy client is a leading global manufacturer of products for fluidics, environmental, analytics, lab essentials, and critical research and process equipment. Their instruments and components have been used extensively in the biopharma, pharmaceutical, lifesciences, environmental, and the food and beverage industries for over six decades!The requirements of the Applications & Inside Sales Specialist:

  • As this is a German speaking role it is a requirement that you speak at least business level German (preference will be given to fluent or native German speakers)
  • You will be educated to degree level in either a biology or chemistry discipline or have equivalent laboratory experience
  • No prior sales experience is required but it is important that you have an outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills
  • Team player, self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, ability to meet deadlines and to work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to identify, question and solve enquiries and customer related problems.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability.
The role of the Applications & Inside Sales Specialist:
  • Working as part of the internal Applications and Inside Sales Support team, with specific focus on leads received from the DACH region (Germany, Austria & Switzerland)
  • Answer inbound telephone calls to the UK sales department & DACH customers in a professional and business-like manner
  • Answering of e-mail queries assigned to this role in a timely manner and if required reach out to Product Sales Managers and Technical Support resources (both internal and external) to ensure customers are given accurate and detailed responses to any technicalquestions
  • Issue quotations when required and to follow up quotations and sales opportunities with outbound sales calls
  • Act upon enquiries generated through the Companys various promotional and marketing activities and administer and update their status on the companys systems (CRM)
  • Communicate and support customers via the Whos on web chat function for the companys web sites
  • Continuous development of marketplace and product knowledge to support above functions
  • To assist in other areas of office functions when required and to provide holiday cover for other team members
  • Feedback and effectively communicate any customer suggestions/complaints/queries via appropriate processes and procedures
Benefits:
  • Base Salary Circa: £26,000 - £28,000 (Depending on Experience)
  • Bonus - 20% of base salary (Uncapped!)
