Sales Administrator Castle Donington, Leicestershire Are you a Sales Administrator with experience of Microsoft Business Central Looking to hit the ground running in an exciting new role with a growing and developing business If so, read on. The Company Medstrom is a manufacturer and supplier of innovative medical solutions that work hand-in-hand with the NHS and other care facilities to deliver solutions and responses to patient-related issues. We are now looking for a Sales Administrator to join our team in Castle Donington, working on a full-time basis. The Role As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for sales order processing, ensuring the receipt and acknowledgement of customer orders are processed in a timely manner using Business Central/Dynamics. Your day-to-day duties will include, but not be limited to: - The sales order process, including receipt of order, sending acknowledgements, updating the sales and clinical teams and checking quotes - The capital purchase order process, including placing selected supplier purchase orders on Business Central/Dynamics - Processing all sales invoices - Supporting the goods in process and downloading data from the goods in system for import into Business Central and i-tracker updates - Attending weekly order review meetings and reporting on backlog and issues faced relating to incoming deliveries, resource allocation and delays - Taking general enquiries from customers chasing orders, or from internal peers relating to customer orders and sales orders received - Checking stock availability for internal staff - Co-ordinating transport bookings for capital sales and imports from other external parties, ensuring deliveries are received on time and when delays occur, communicating these to the warehouse or customer immediately About You To be considered as a Sales Administrator, you’ll need: - Working knowledge of Business Central or a similar ERP system - To be educated to GCSE level 4/C and above in Maths and English or equivalent - Experience in a busy sales order processing environment - Customer-facing experience with an ability to communicate at all levels - Strong Microsoft skills, with a main focus on Excel - Strong time management skills and a flexible attitude - A keen eye for detail Alongside these key skills, candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to manage a wide variety of tasks, whilst maintaining a methodical approach and the ability to prioritise to achieve pre-agreed plans. You will have a positive and cheerful attitude and have the desire to provide a valued contribution to the team and the wider business.
