The notification service lets charities know when they have been mentioned in a will and what the details of the gift are. More recently, we have developed online analysis tools allowing charities to identify key trends in legacy giving to better enable them to plan their future legacy fundraising strategy.Main Purpose of RoleThe Reader must work both autonomously and as part of the team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently - both to a high quality and in a timely manner. Your time will be spent reading all Scottish, English and Welsh wills within the strict weekly timeline, extracting those which contain charitable content.- Working as part of the team to ensure that all wills are read within strict timelines- Ensuring that the charitable wills and stats are prepared to be scanned and- Interpreting wills that contain gifts to charities in a bespoke database, and linking the information to the charity mentioned to strict guidelines- Liaising with the Reader/Reporters regarding any missing / incomplete wills- Working across other products and performing other tasks as and when requiredSkills and Experience Required- Experience in the same or similar role- Excellent attention to detail- Flexible and open to change, with the ability to adapt quickly- Impeccable time management and organisational skills;- Self-motivated, with a positive attitude- Excellent interpretation skills, and good written English- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team"We are committed to equality, equality of opportunity and valuing diversity"
