Job Description

We are seeking a team leader and experienced investigator who will manage our triage and initial enquiry processes, the day to day commissioning and oversight of outsourced investigations.Closing date: 5 March 2020 (12pm)Interview date: TBASalary: £37,105 - £42,900 per annum plus benefits, depending on skills and experienceHours: 35 hours per week, from 9am to 5pm, Monday to FridayLocation: Canary Wharf, LondonThe roleThe successful candidate will understand the nuances of professionals discipline and regulation, our commitment to patient safety and the need to balance performance and productivity with quality and customer service.In addition to triage processes and investigation management, the Senior, Monitoring and Concerns Officer will oversee case presentation and the monitoring and case review of all undertakings and sanctions imposed by our statutory committees.The successful applicant will:

  • Have the ability to work autonomously and make independent and considered prioritisation decisions, taking pride in producing accurate and high-quality work.
  • Be legally qualified (with a recognised post-graduate legal qualification) or substantial experience within professional regulation and the ability to take accurate notes and minutes.
  • Be creative in approach to problem solving with a demonstrable track record in providing exceptional customer service who will remain calm and affable under pressure.
