Assistant Group Reporting Manager (Finance)

Job Description

We are currently working in partnership with one of the nation’s most renowned Housing Associations based in East London, who are recruiting for an Assistant Group Reporting Manager on a FTC until November 2024.The position is due to start in February 2024 with a market-leading salary of £60,199 per annum (pro-rata)The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Experience producing Group statutory accounts
  • Leading the year-end process
  • A qualified accountant, ideally with 2 years’ post-qualified experience; possess exemplary communication
  • Skills and experience in a Housing Association/property management organisation
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Leading and coordinating the annual audit, namely acting as the main point of contact with external auditors, supplying high volumes of key information to multiple sources and running high-profile meetings as an invaluable business partner
  • Significantly assisting in the production of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting on a range of financial matters, such as: budgeting, compliance, statutory accounts
  • Performing monthly reconciliations on control accounts, intercompany records and more
  • Support the production of income and expenditure, cashflow and balance sheet notes
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
  • Statutory accounting
  • External audit management
  • Financial reporting (e.g., budgeting, compliance etc..)
