Job Description

Maintenance EngineerAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Maintenance Engineer based in East Kilbride. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary.This role requires a great deal of flexibility and the successful candidate will work on a call out basis over and above their normal working pattern to support business requirements.Role Requirements

  • Have experience of heavy machinery, ideally in Print/Finishing trade.
  • Have electrical experience.
  • Electrical Engineering qualified to HNC/HND Level.
  • Have the ability to communicate well throughout the business.
  • Be motivated, well organised and be willing to work within a busy production environment.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure.
Role Responsibilities
  • To ensure compliance with company safety systems and policies is driven across the site.
  • To keep all machines in production by repair or organising appropriate contractors.
  • To work on the Preventative maintenance schedule.
  • To complete work off the EFACs Site Services log within the time frames allocated e.g. high, medium and low.
  • To maintain a good standard of housekeeping throughout the department.
  • To Prioritise repairs for the needs of the business.
  • To be competent in dealing with both electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Ability to use power tooling and manufacturing machines i.e. lathe, mill.
  • Problem solving and using a logical approach to repairs, projects.
  • To be competent reading complex electrical schematics to enable fault finding.
  • To constantly strive for improvement/development of existing and new equipment.
  • Source Parts using various resources and have a keen eye toward pricing/availability.
  • You will report to the Maintenance Engineer/Supervisor.
