Job Description

Jackton Moor are on the look out for a motivated, organised and confident individual to join their manufacturing team. This is a unique apprenticeship position revolving around administration, design and manufacturing.If you are looking for a role that has a mixture of office based and hands on duties, this is the role for you!At Jackton Moore, they provide a complete kitchen, bedroom and bathroom service, from design to final installation. They pride themselves on continually designing ranges which share their dedication to the craft of real furniture and the sheer luxury ofusing the finest quality materials, fixtures and fittings to create a finish to your specific requirements.The business is committed to developing and support talent through Modern Apprenticeships. As well as recognising talent and promoting internally.You will be supported by your line manager, the friendly Jackton Moore team and a dedicated Assessor.Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with Magi Cut to design and produce specific parts for customer designs
  • Operating the systems of Easy Quote to ensure that design processes are followed
  • Working closing with the manufacturing team to plan projects for customers orders
  • Operating Magi Cut to implement the designs to produce the material for the planned programme and design
  • Using EQ to update design projects timelines and uploading final designs to the system to be used by the manufacturing team
  • Using Microsoft Excel to manage costings for the customers
  • Handling inbound customer calls in a polite and professional manner when necessary
  • Managing emails on Microsoft Office from customers, the manufacturing team and the suppliers
  • Working in a timely manner in a fast paced environment and completing adhoc administration duties
Required Skills:
  • Ambitions to work within a Digital Technical Design position with a strong work ethic and open to new ideas
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Broad computer literacy
  • Good understanding and experience using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Additional Information:
  • Salary £10,000 - £12,000 with a salary review is subject to successful completion of Apprenticeship
  • MondayThursday 8:00am - 4:45pm and Friday 8:00am - 2:15pm
Future Career Progression:
  • A permanent position will be considered at employers discretion after successful completion of Digital Applications Support Modern Apprenticeship
