Job Description

Who youll be working for:As an apprentice office administrator with McQuilkin & Co, you will be working for a business which has people at the heart of everything we do.Overview:You will work within the laboratory supplies business helping to provide great customer service. through a number of different channels of communication. All of this with a slightly shorter working day on a Friday!Whilst gaining impeccable on the job learning you will also be working towards your SCQF Digital Applications Support Diploma with QA.Working week:37hrs a week.Monday - Thursday,8:30am - 5:00pm,and Friday will be from 8:30am - 4:30pm.Key Responsibilities:You will be trained on Business Central system to:

  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Communicate with customers using telephone and outlook
  • Learn how to operate software to extract information
  • Learn how to operate our customer management systems
  • Learn how to input and manipulate data

Future prospects:92% of QA Apprentices secure full-time employment after finishing their apprenticeship.Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.Important information:QAs apprenticeships are funded by the Skills Development Scotland agency.To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
