Job Description

The BriefBuild Recruitment are partnering with Pyramid Plus as their exclusive recruitment partner to enable them to deliver their electrical testing program and works arising from Fire Risk Assessments ("FRA works") from 1st June 2020.The CompanyPyramid Plus are Joint Venture Partnerships between A2Dominion and Mears Property Services (Pyramid Plus South) and Breyer Group (Pyramid Plus London) providing repairs and maintenance, compliance and planned replacements.Pyramid Plus successfully complete over 60,000 repairs, 1,750 voids and 600 Kitchens & Bathrooms annually to 37,000 homes. The homes are located across a large geographic area including London, Oxford, Portsmouth, Southampton and parts of Kent. Pyramid Plus are now growing this portfolio of works on securing the electrical testing and FRA compliance programs. With some further project opportunities to tender for in the coming months there are exciting times ahead as they continue to grow!The JobTo be responsible for the financial management of the joint venture maintenance contract, ensuring that financial targets are achieved.To provide an effective interface with the clients, consultants and subcontractors agreeing valuations and payments.To analyse and review data to help the business make informed decisions to achieve profitabilityTo ensure that pay information is collated, and the necessary deductions are made so that a gross pay file can be exported monthlyEnsure that the contract is properly informed as to the commercial and financial position so it can best make business decisionsMain ObjectivesCVRPrepare a monthly CVR by work stream demonstrating the commercial and financial position of the contract by work stream, and elements within work streamInform operational strategy based upon CVR outputsPro-actively advise on risk & opportunity, track and update subsequentlyApplication invoicing Ensure all applications are submitted in line with the contractual termsA tracker is in place to monitor all applications submitted and ensure any works rejected are tracked and reissued when appropriateTo price all jobs by their appropriate revenue code to ensure that they are billed correctlyTo produce and agree a monthly application any part chargeable and out of scope works and then raise an invoiceTo invoice the client monthly for the provision of our management services, secondment costs, supplier and sub-contractor spendTo liaise with staff to ensure that all relevant pricing information is handed over and understood on a job by job basisEnsure cash is managed; payments are received on time from clients in line with cash out to supply chain. Contract MUST remain cash positiveSupply chain management Procure subcontractors and produce an accurate and complete subcontract order which ensures commercially advantageous rates and encompasses all main contract and client contract conditionsTo final account cost files at the end of the financial period and re-engageRegularly check and value subcontractors work, agree valuations and produce payment certificates, in accordance with sub-contract conditionsTo analyse on a month by month basis the spend by revenue stream and delivery method, identifying risk areas and designing an appropriate recovery planCommercial Core Group & Contract MeetingsTo manage the CCG on behalf of Pyramid ensuring all meetings have relevant attendees informed and attending; where appropriateAll CCG actions, regardless of whom nominated, are actioned in line with agreed deadlines - unless need to escalateAll CCG reports required for the meeting are prepared timeously and attendees are briefed prior to meetingTo attend contract meetings, produce any specific information required for these meetingsCost ControlAll cost files are reviewed and audited to identify exceptions or incorrect allocations & charges; rebut and receive credits where appropriateRegular audits of supplier costs are undertaken ensuring Pyramids are receiving the agreed discounts and item ratesOpportunities to reduce cost are consistently identified and ac
