Job Description

Role: Curriculum Lead - Foundation LearningLocation: West LondonHours: Full TimePay: £40,588 to £44,165 per annumDuration: PermanentThe College:Ofsted judged the College to be outstanding - the highest possible gradeA pass rate of 98% at grades A*-G in GCSEsLots of facilities and near to the town centres and has excellent transport linksThe Role:To deliver teaching on the Foundation Learning curriculum and lead on PMLD milestones 1-4 up to LLDD and Entry/Level 1 provision as well as specialist ASD provision at Level 2To manage staffing for the Foundation Studies coursesTo oversee the recruitment and retention of learners with a range of special education needsTo ensure high levels of student achievementLiaise with third parties in order to ensure that the Foundation curriculum evolves in live with local initiativesWhat you will need:A recognised teaching qualification with recent teaching on Foundation coursesA relevant degreeSENCO or other Level 5 or above SEN qualificationGood understanding of current provisions for learners experiencing special educational needs and Functional SkillsExperience of staff management/supervision in a Further Education settingReed Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment.Successful applicants will be required to undergo a DBS check.Benefits of working with Reed Education:When you work with Reed Education, you will have access to a range of expertise and advice as well as benefits.
