Company description Job Title:Apprentice Mechanic (Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician)Location:Ealing UB2, UB6 and HA4Salary: Starting salary of £9,000 with annual reviews. Leading to a permanent role on £31,584, with on target earnings of £43,000Closing Date: 15th August 2021 This is the job As part of our continued investment into the next generation of AA employees, were pleased to be offering a 3-year apprenticeship programme, in partnership with our training provider Bosch.If youre hard-working and self-motivated, with a passion for mechanics and helping others, this could be the perfect place to start your career! What will I be doing Following a short AA induction at our Oldbury site, youll be welcomed into your local garage to begin your new career. Well give you all the support and resources you need; with a line manager, an experienced buddy and a dedicated development coach fromBosch, to help you work towards your Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance (Light Vehicle) qualification.Once you complete the scheme, youll be ready to join our Full Time Patrol team, putting your diagnostic skills to the test when our members vehicles are having a bad day. Youll call on all your knowledge and training from the apprenticeship to help youfix all kinds of customer vehicles. As a Full-Time Patrol member, your shifts will include some evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays, so youll need to be comfortable driving to all kinds of locations, in all weathers and working independently and efficiently.What youll loveTheres so much variety to enjoy in the Patrol team. Youll manage your own work, with options to meet additional targets and boost your earnings too, with the support of the wider team only ever a phone call away.Youll get to work with the latest diagnostic technology and repairs equipment, as you represent a trusted brand at the forefront of the industry and help customers in need. What do I need To apply for this Apprenticeship, youll need:

  • Grade 4 or above in Maths & English (C grade GCSE), or a level 2 in Functional Skills Maths and English
  • To have a UK driving license, or be working towards one
  • To be passionate about helping others, and learning all about car mechanics
