COVID-19 Outbreak Control Support Administrator required to work on a full-time, temporary basis. This is to work from home and offers an immediate start.The RoleSupport the Outbreak Control Team and the Settings-Based Outbreak Control Teams to ensure that business needs are prioritised and managed effectively.Managing incoming communication (email, post, telephone calls) and highlighting/prioritising key points for follow up.To create electronic documents, reports, letters etc. from copy and dictation.To produce and update spreadsheets and presentations using Microsoft packages including excel and PowerPoint.Highlight issues of an urgent nature to relevant senior members of the team.To make arrangements for meetings including the booking of venues, sending invitations, organising agendas and taking minutes. Undertake progress/chasing tasks arising from meetings.The preparation, production and presentation of documents and minutes from own notes and from a variety of sources of information.To manage the electronic diary on behalf of the Outbreak Control Team and arrange appointments and meetings.Set up and maintain electronic filing systems.Organise travel, accommodation and hospitality requirements.Effectively communicate with Elected Members, Senior Officers in the Authority and with representatives of other agencies and members of the public.Undertake projects and administrative tasks as required, including the research and presentation of information.Establishing and maintaining a daily bring forward system.Process payment of invoices and tracking of financial transactions using Oracle.Support Managers manage budgets.Maintain stock checks and order stationery on behalf of the Public Health Team using Oracle.Commitment to continuous development.The above is not exhaustive and the post holder will be expected to undertake any duties which may reasonably fall within the level of responsibility and the competence of the post.Experience RequiredApplicants must have recent relevant experience and an NVQ 3 in Business Admin or similar.Remuneration£10.01 per hourThis is a temporary position and Corepeople Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment business for the supply of temporary workers to the hirer.By applying for this job you accept the T&Cs, Privacy Policy and Disclaimers which can be found on our website.
