Job Description

MTrecs new career opportunityWe are recruiting for our client who are looking for a Supply Chain Data Analyst to support with the businesss supply chain operations.This role will focus on analysing varied data for effective operational planning. The data will support key business measures (ie customer demand, inventory, sales etc) looking at past performance and forecasting requirements.The role will mean interfacing effectively with key stakeholders (locally and with group associates in Europe) using strong, open communications and playing a role in key strategic decisions.This role will report into the Supply Chain Manager and is based on site.The Role

  • Interact with key business partners to ensure we have reliable data for the business and feed into the companies European SIOP processes.
  • Support with scenario planning changes in the supply chain to help guide decision making.
  • Analyse data and identify areas of improvement in the supply chain.
  • This would include trend analysis, risk identification, forecasting and KPI development.
  • Provide clear communication for the SCM team, local management and the central SIOP function.
  • Improve and manage data gathering methodologies and review current processes of data gathering from multiple systems (eg ERP, WMS, Customer Portals).
  • Support a small number of strategic projects such as inventory cost reduction, WMS system implementation, etc
  • Compile, analyse and interpret monthly reports and other data as required.
About you:
  • Strong analytical grounding and data management focus.
  • Advanced Excel skills including experience working with pivot tables, queries, indexing, lookup, and decision-making if statements. Proven experience of handling multiple datasets within Microsoft Excel.
  • Analytical ands strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skill, with ability to effectively prioritise your workload and projects accordingly.
  • A clear and concise communicator.
  • Adaptable and effective decision-making abilities.
  • Able to take ownership and responsibility, proactively seeks out solutions and opportunities to improve.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders through email and video conference.
  • Experience of supply chain or inventory management.
  • Proven ability to work with multiple levels of leadership and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable collaborating and making decisions with an eye on continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Experience using business intelligence tools, such as PowerBI.
  • Experience with ERP and WMS systems - especially regarding data export/import.
  • Fluent in MS office applications.
