Working primarily at the Durham and Darlington Hospitals NHS Trust the post holder will deliver high quality, evidence based care to all patients who have or may require the formation of a stoma within the hospital setting. The post holder will also provide expert advice and education for all staff within the hospital and community. The post holder is responsible for reviewing, auditing and improving the quality of care delivered. Supporting the development of the nursing service you will provide clinical expertise and co-ordinate patient care working with the multi-professional team. Your clinical knowledge coupled with great communication and relationship building skills will enableyou to develop these services and make a real difference at a grass roots level. Working independently you will need to be self-motivated and enjoy ongoing personal development. 15 hours/week. Wednesday and Thursday, 8.00am 4.00pm (with half an hour for lunch)
