At MGL every member of our Team is valued for the part they play in the company’s overall success.Due to continued growth and investment we have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join our Team.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake regular site inspections and engagement visits to evaluate the effectiveness of the SHEQ Management Systems and ensure reports are adequately closed-out with corrective actions completed within agreed timescales.Advise on the production of key documentation and support operational teams in the interpretation and application of the SHEQ Management Systems and any supporting policies, procedures and processes to enhance awareness, engagement and capability.Ensure that incidents and near misses are effectively managed, reported, investigated and made subject to root cause analysis in accordance with MGL procedures and support the operational teams to embed lessons learned.Provide comprehensive support to operational teams to ensure the identification and management of SHEQ risks and opportunities is considered at the planning stage of works.Support and facilitate liaison with Clients and enforcing authorities to maintain their confidence & respect.Support in the preparation and cascade of SHEQ Alerts / Bulletins and other communication campaigns.Ensure all works are undertaken in accordance with relevant compliance obligations, best practice and Company standard working procedures.What we are looking for - Ideal Candidate
