The roleOur client is a leading, global warehousing & logistics provider implementing warehouse management software solutions either on premise or in the cloud for customers in industries including food & drink, fashion & apparel, FMCG & high tech, automotive, wholesale& distribution, pharmaceuticals, packaging, 3PL & eCommerce.With around 30 customers who use their existing software which was built in 2003, they have recently designed a new SaaS solution that will enable them to expand their customer base with eCommerce companies and integrate with Royal Mail, couriers. Amazon, Shopifyand Etsy.As such, they are now looking for an experienced Senior Developer who canestablish best practices into the technology lifecycle and own the orchestration of a distributed systems delivery pipeline, in a greenfield development environment. If successful, yourresponsibilities will include; developing and implementing software integrations, overseeing Microservices creation based on architectural design, implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures, mentoring developers and supporting the operationsdepartment in a production environment.To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate great skill in creativity and innovation, always want and be willing to learn more and possess excellent communication skills.
